  • in order to level the laying plane at the corners, the material is cut and then filled with silicone sealant. For reliability, the edges of linoleum are fixed on the walls with a liquid bituminous composition or mastic;
  • after that, reinforcement is laid on the linoleum in the form of a fine mesh, along which the usual one is then made.

According to this method, it can also be made from known rolled materials containing bitumen at its core (from roofing material, for example, or using a built-up roof). But this approach will be more costly, especially if you use as a basis modern materials high cost.

When using roofing felt, the surface of the wooden floor is first treated with mastic using a roller or brush, and then sheets of material are placed on it with an overlap of approximately 20–25 cm. sheets. In this case, the blanks used are stacked in several layers so that each of them is perpendicular to the previous one.

In this case, as well as when using linoleum, it is necessary to make a slight overlap of the material on the walls, and carefully treat the cut corners with the same sealant.

Preparing walls for finishing

The walls of the bathroom in a wooden house, as a rule, are laid out either from round logs (round logs) or from ordinary timber.
